This photographer is a genius. Never heard of Derek Blank before. Reminds me of Andy Warhol's style. I first noticed Kelly Rowland in the early 00's with Destiny's Child. Unlike most lads, my affixation wasn't with Beyonce but the beautiful, tall black girl strutting along beside her who had, not just better looks in my opinion but a way better voice, which she demonstrated on her '02 solo album and recently with David Guetta. I was really into my english/french house music in the early 90's (when it was good), and it's good to see she's exploring this style, as this type of music caters to women with strong, beautiful voices and as we all know only black women need apply (with a few small exceptions of course). So, anyway. Do you guys like the photo number '6', the "we can do it" where the both of her are in the same shot? I think it's classic. I'm going to try and reproduce a nice sized version sandwiched in glass, 2" clear border and thick chrome frame. I think she deserves it. Beautiful!
