Well, Well, Well, what a weekend it was guys!! Very exciting and BUSY of course! I was recording til late on Saturday and slept late on Sunday(day of Grammy’s) and I woke up to find out that David and I got a Grammy for “When Love Takes Over”!!!

How psyched am I to get another Grammy! I never take those moments for granted, but trust me there are SO many people to thank for making it such a success. David, his management  and all of  his amazing team.

“Kelly Rowland gives X Factor advice at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation ball”

Kelly was featured in a Times Online article, giving advice to X Factor winner Joe McElderry before performing at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Winter Ball.

“…It took Destiny’s Child six years to get a record deal. Sometimes there is a waiting list and you have to struggle and have patience.

Personally, I think that strengthens you and makes you better and more appreciative when you get there. I hope all the X Factor finalists appreciate that and know that there’s somebody ready and willing to take their spot. So it’s important to always have that passion and love for music.”

Kelly attended the Grey Goose Winter Ball at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday and was featured on Grazia Daily’s The weekend’s best dressed, the long and short of it. According to Grazia:

Among the guests was Kelly Rowland who stole the spotlight when she serenaded the star-studded crowd and glided amongst the guests wearing a beautiful blue Basil Soda Couture mermaid dress with an extravagant embellishment on the hip to accentuate her curves.

What’s your all-time favourite outfit?
Baggy, ripped jeans, a comfy T-shirt, sandals or heels and a hat. I prefer to be casual if I can.

What’s your favourite high street clothes shop?
I love River Island. Everything in the store is so great. Especially their shoes! OMG! It was so cool when they asked me to be part of their project with The Prince’s Trust – I got to work with their designers and create something especially to suit me.
